No, you're not the only one - we all thought it was the *Hollows*, that's why.

Harry = horcrux was all over the net...

Epilogue is not canon to me, because I'm HarryxLuna. Also because I firmly believe that highschool sweetheart != one true love. But I'm biased because I met my one true love in college.

The third will be........? (pulling a Sopranos on me?)

Lupin/Tonks subplot needed more playing up. Got lost.

Speaking of getting lost, so did the Neville is a True Gryffindor subplot.

Loved the last conversation/duel w/Harry v Voldemort.

H=H was all over the net, but it wasn't widely agreed upon. RAB only had one good theory, and it was the one that turned out to be true.

How can something in one of the source books not be canon? Anyway, high school sweetheart may not equal love, but it doesn't prevent it from being so.

Lots of plots got lost. No one outside the trio got enough play.

I also think they should have covered a little bit more of what happened in the 18 years 11 months 29 days 23 hours 58 minutes after Voldemort was defeated.

Though I do still want to slap Ginny around.

I don't necessarily want to slap her around, but I'm unsure where the chemistry is with Harry. HarryxLuna had so much more potential.

Oh, biggest surprise of the book = Kreacher.

I felt that it was completely out of character for Ginny to meekly accept the breakup at the end of HBP, and that she would find a way to go adventuring in DH.

I never actually saw much chemistry between Harry and anyone. Maybe it's just because he was always off saving the world, but his relationships mostly felt obligatory.

She spent all of Chamber of Secrets brainwashed and possessed, so I have no doubt that she could be meek. I'm sorry, but until Book 4 she had no personality whatsoever. Book 5, really. And then we just knew she was a decent Seeker and could cast a good hex. She never spent any time with Harry. And then all of a sudden they have a Great Love? Ahemahem.

See, that's why Luna works. She's sort of weird and disconnected from the world too. She could kinda understand him when nobody else would even listen.

Is it wrong that the whole time I was reading the spoilers on Wiki that I kept hoping that Potter would have really bitten the big one and Neville would have been shown to be the "true" chosen one? I mean talk about catching people out of the blue...

Sure it was cool what he did and the fact that he took his spanking like a man, but I just thought there was more potential than saw the light of day.

*still glad Wiki saved me lots o' money by having the book synopsis on it*
